George and Nikki are a young couple who recently purchased a property in Brixton SW2. They wanted to do the refurbishment and remodelling of their new home. Our idea was to maximise the natural light in new spaces. So we installed sky lights, windows and French doors opening in the garden. We created an L shaped kitchen island platform which became the hub of the house. We also did underfloor heating throughout the newly refurbished area.
George is a musician and he wanted space for his piano. The living and dinning space were designed by keeping this in mind.
Good Design and Build arranged meetings with the clients every step of the way for discussing details of the project. Last minute changes were made to the plan as our clients wanted to go with different tiling option.
Our clients had a very quirky taste in interiors which is reflected in their choices of tiles and the rustic kitchen.
The build time for this project was 12 weeks and approximately cost £70K.
